Range
There are times when not sufficient skilled resource is available internally to a company. To meet those times the Planning Support Service covers a range of activities that may be purchased individually to supplement the use of internal resources, and thereby bridge the gap between needs and availability.
Training
Although comprehensive on-line Help is available to users throughout Strategy, many new customers choose to have product training to speed up the learning process.
Session 1 - Initial training to familiarise users with the Strategy solution.
Session 2 - Advanced training covering the functionality of the Strategy solution.
In-house courses are also available on the business continuity planning process, and on specific activities.
Courses cover all the specialist activities, including the risk assessment, the business impact analysis, developing recovery strategies, dealing with the media, and running plan rehearsals.
Activity Support
Support is available for single activities to assist internal staff in managing the tasks and to undertake the tasks.
Flexibility is built in so that the right level of support is available to assist when there is insufficient time and expertise available internally. This can be particularly beneficial for developing recovery strategies, and for plan review and exercising.
Project Management
Managing a large, complex, lengthy business continuity project for the first time can be a daunting task. Consultants are available to provide that all important guidance to the project, freeing internal staff to undertake the detailed activities.
This is a cost effective approach for the larger organisation, gaining the benefit of the busines continuity professional, without the expense of them undertaking the detailed activities.
