The leading professional institute for business continuity is the Business Continuity Institute, based in the UK. Three of the Strategy Consultants hold the highest membership level of Fellow of the BCI, and have many years experience in the field of business continuity.

BRIAN DOSWELL FBCI

Since 1987 Brian has been employed as a consultant specialising in Business Continuity Management. During that time he has assisted over 60 organisations, in both the public and the private sector, to devise contingency plans to suit the scale of their individual business. He is a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute, a Member of the Institute of Management, a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists, and a Freeman of the City of London.

Notably among Brian's longer term customers are the MOD(Navy), MOD(Army), BBC, Allied Breweries, United Nations in Geneva, HM Tower of London, Allen & Overy, Hammond Suddards and a number of banking and finance institutions in the UK and overseas.

DONALD WERNER C.Eng FBCI

A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute, Don has been engaged on assignments in the field of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning for the past 15 years. He has been retained in varied capacities ranging from Managing Consultant with responsibilities for provision of line management and specialist consultancy input up to senior Project Director responsible for total BCP projects.

Don is an experienced managing consultant, who is retained by a number of Government Depts as an advisor on Risk Management and currently supports recovery planning on assignments with large financial institutions in the European Community. He has been directly accountable for the development and testing of Plans within large organisations trading in the Finance, Legal, Manufacturing, Utilities and Retail business sectors.

GEOFF BRYANT - FBCI

With over 12 years experience in business continuity management, Geoff is the developer of Strategy Business Continuity Management software. A Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute, he worked for 7 years providing business continuity services, and since has concentrated on the development of the Strategy business continuity planning methodology and supporting software tools.

Geoff is a senior working practitioner in business continuity management and a major contributor to the industry. He specialised in computer disaster recovery services, IT and business recovery planning and testing. He managed a team of eight consultants, a business recovery centre and serviced over five hundred customers. He now specialises in the development of business continuity planning methodologies, software tools and the delivery of business risk & impact, resource recovery and business continuity planning, training & consultancy services.

DAVID TEED

Based in Glasgow, Teed Business Continuity are the leading independent firm of business continuity consultants within Scotland. David, the senior partner, has 12 years experience of advising organisations on their contingency and business continuity planning arrangements.

Clients come from a wide range of industries, including public transport providers, Universities, manufacturers and financial institutions. Typical contracts will involve facilitating the development of business continuity plans, from start to finish. However, many projects are undertaken which focus on specific aspects of an organisation's project, providing essential planning support to internal staff.

PETER HUMPIDGE BSc.

After a successful career as a director of a Plc for fifteen years, including five years as managing director of a computer services company, Peter has spent the last ten years as a management consultant, the last five of which specialising in business continuity planning.

In that time, he has worked with a wide range of organisations, both in the UK and in Europe, establishing business recovery needs and providing detailed plans. His methodology has evolved around the use of Strategy software and he has developed and installed over twenty complete plans.
